“Those are Scouts, there you learn
how to start a fire.”
(Popular cliché)

In such a manner many people seem to look at the biggest youth movement of the world. But at the bottom of Scouting there is more than a bunch of gnomes going camping and strolling through forests in Huey-Dewey-Louie-style, which I'm trying to show on the homepage of my troop BdP-Stamm “Albert Schweitzer” Hüttersdorf e. V.

My group, the “Ritter von Akkon”, is especially close to my heart and shows impressively that Scoutism is not for kids only.

“We learn from experience that men
never learn anything from experience.”

(George Bernard Shaw,
Ir. playwright, 1856-1950)
